Sarah Rosenson returns with “Children’s Bible Stories for Adults”

Zoom-only: Sept. 12, 19, 26 and Oct. 10.

Noah’s Ark and Jonah and the Whale are considered children’s stories because they’re fun. Animals on a boat! Man survives being swallowed by a whale! But at an adult level, these complex stories raise important questions about righteousness, justice, and whether there are things that can never be forgiven. This interactive online discussion will compare ancient and modern commentary and explore our ideas about these fascinating stories. Thursday evening Zoom-only series: Sept. 12, 19, 26 and Oct. 10.
